What I’ve Learned In One Minute…Hi Friends, I started a podcast and it accidentally uploaded to YouTube before I was even ready, so the first episode is already up there. The second episode is coming out next Wednesday and I'll share more about it in the newsletters ahead. What this means going forward is that I'll mainly be focusing on long form content, primarily podcasting and writing. These are the areas I've found I actually enjoy. With that, I just want to say thank you for your grace and patience as you watch me grow and go on this journey of creating content and sharing the pursuit of intentionality in my life and hopefully yours too. If I'm honest, this is something I felt like I should have started a long time ago. But it felt like I needed to earn my way to start. Like I hadn't done enough yet to deserve the space. And that made me think about how we do that with the things we actually want to try. We hold back because we feel undeserving. We wait until we feel ready or qualified or worthy enough. But in doing that, we forget that the only way to actually defeat that imposter syndrome, the only way to feel like you belong in that space, is to create the evidence that gives you the self belief to be there. So here I am. Creating evidence. And hoping that one day I'll actually believe it. TL;DRI started a podcast and I'm shifting my focus to long form content. But more than the announcement, this is about finally starting something I'd been putting off because I didn't feel like I deserved to yet. The only way to feel like you belong somewhere is to start creating the evidence that you do. QUICK HACKSWINS & LESSONSWin: The sun was out a couple of days this week. Finally getting out of the winter misery. It's the small things that really count! Lesson: Eating your last meal earlier helps you sleep better at night. I stumbled on this by accident and noticed an incredible difference in my energy levels and appetite. If you're someone who usually eats an hour before bed and wonders why you wake up feeling hazy or unfinished, try pushing your last meal back to two hours before and possibly thank me later. QUESTION FOR YOUR THOUGHTSWhat is something you've been waiting to feel ready for, that you could just start today? WITH INTENTIONI do a podcast about learning how to be intentional in everyday life, here's what this week's episode is about: Most of us are chasing discipline without ever asking if it's truly worth the price. In the first episode, we get into why relentless dedication can quietly lead to loneliness and emptiness if you're not aligning your efforts with what actually matters to you. Is discipline really about pushing through pain, or is it about reducing the friction that was never worth suffering through in the first place?
Alright that's it from me. In a bit,Motheo |

What I’ve Learned In One Minute… Hi Friend, I've realised that advice is neither good nor bad. It's only relative to the listener's experience at that time. Going to a wedding this past weekend really helped me appreciate that. I watched this amazing young couple prepare to spend the rest of their lives together. Two people who were clearly best friends, choosing each other in front of everyone they loved. And in that moment, nobody in that room would have said, "You shouldn't be doing this....
What I’ve Learned In One Minute… Hi Reader, I’ve been thinking a lot about Parkinson’s Law, what it can and can’t do and I wanted to share that with you today and what I took away about it from working in engineering for the past 9 months. What Parkinson’s Law Can and Can’t Do The older I get, the more I notice that the wisest people in the room are usually the ones who can tell you, pretty accurately, how long something is going to take. I think Parkinson’s Law has something to do with that....
What I’ve Learned In One Minute… Hi Friends, This week has been quite strange in terms of what I've been learning and figuring out. It's definitely been a week of ups and downs, but also a time of reflection, learning and understanding where distraction comes from and where capability comes from. I've decided to split it into three of the biggest things. Job versus Career The difference between a job and a career showed itself very clearly to me this week, specifically in the way people carry...
